Join us for the official launch of Tits on the Moon, the latest collection of writing by Dessa. Published by Rain Taxi in association with Doomtree, this stunning new chapbook features a dozen “stage poems”—funny, weird, and sometimes bittersweet—along with a short essay on craft. At this special Moon Launch, Dessa will read from the collection, divulge some behind-the-scenes secrets about it, and send us all into the outer space of being “always a bridesmaid, never an astronaut.”
NOTE: This 5 pm TCBF 2022 finale is a $5 ticketed event. To purchase a ticket, swing by the Rain Taxi booth in the Progress Center anytime between 10 am and 4:30 pm (and while you’re there, snag a copy of Tits on the Moon for Dessa to sign!). FYI, each ticket is also a raffle entry, and one lucky winner will be chosen during the event to receive a Deluxe TOTM package which includes a signed book, sticker, metal pin, and vinyl flexi-disc.
A book signing will follow the main event. Doors open at 4:45 pm. Seating is first come, first serve. See you there!
